Dr. William W. Wilson, Professor of Applied Economics and Agribusiness at North Dakota State University, joins us at the Global Crop Production Virtual Conference to discuss agriculture technology, supply chain problems, changes in agricultural competition, and detailed impacts of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Dr. Wilson will share insights on the implications these events have on strategy and risk in agriculture.
We’re excited to have a distinguished professor and steward of risk and strategy in agriculture and agribusiness joining us at this conference. Dr. Wilson’s credentials include the creation of the NDSU Commodity Trading Room, state-of-the-art facility for teaching and research in commodity marketing, logistics, and trading.
He frequently consults with major agribusiness firms on developing ag technology for commercialization, procurement, transportation and logistics, international marketing, and competition, as well as risk and strategy assessments.
Dr. Wilson first gained recognition as one of the top 10 Agricultural Economists in 1995 and more recently as one of the top 1% of agricultural economists by Research Papers in Economics.
