Installing GHG Chambers for ASLE Technologies Fertilizer Trial
Mike Gretzinger is in the field with the students as they prep their greenhouse gas chambers to trap the air and let us measure the N2O emissions of fertilizer varieties. This project is funded by ASLE Technologies, to track the emissions from a variety of fertilizer products in comparison to their proprietary blend. |

Saving Soils Seeding Updates
Mike Gretzinger, Farming Smarter Research Coordinator & Agronomy Research Lead, is here to share an update at our Saving Soils Cover Crop project, funded by RBC Tech for Nature & Weston Family Foundation. The team is taking biomass samples, checking PRS soil probes and Delta T moisture probe. We recently finished spring seeding in all of our cover crop trials. This project sees corn, canola, drybeans seeded into three different cover crop management practices: untreated check, sprayed & disced pre-spring seeding, and "living mulch". |
